Xiamen Yuhong Plastic has produced stretch films in-house since 2008. The production site in Xiamen operates 5 blown-film extrusion lines and 12 automatic winders, using 100% virgin LLDPE resin. Products are supplied to warehouses, logistics hubs, and manufacturing facilities in Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia.
Stretch film is generally divided into hand-applied and machine-applied types. The selection depends on daily wrapping volume, load shape, and available equipment. Both categories are produced at the Xiamen facility.
Hand stretch film is designed for manual wrapping. It is commonly used in operations with mixed pallet sizes or lower wrapping volumes. The film offers balanced stretch, consistent cling, and easy tear-off. For manual stations where operators wrap continuously, Pre-Stretched Hand Stretch Film is also available. This film is pre-stretched during production, reducing the physical effort required during application and potentially lowering material consumption per pallet.
Machine stretch film is produced for automated pallet wrappers operating at higher speeds. It has higher tensile strength and consistent elongation, which support stable running on turntable and rotary arm machines. Controlled winding helps maintain uniform feeding and reduces film-related interruptions.
Yuhong's standard stretch films are produced by blown-film extrusion. In addition, a cast-film line is used for certain specialty products. The two methods result in different film characteristics:

The production process follows ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Raw material, in-process, and finished product inspections are performed according to documented procedures. SGS test reports are available for relevant products.
Yuhong is a manufacturer. Stretch film production is carried out in the company's own facility in Xiamen, China.
Stock products are generally shipped within 7–10 days. Customized orders usually require 15–25 days after order confirmation.
Sample rolls are available for evaluation. The customer is responsible for courier costs, which can be deducted from the first formal order.
The company holds ISO 9001:2015 certification. Additional compliance documents such as RoHS or REACH can be provided when applicable to the product and market.
A general reference is 15–18 μm for light uniform loads and 22–25 μm for heavy or sharp-edged loads. The final choice also depends on pallet dimensions, transportation distance, and wrapping equipment. Yuhong's sales team can provide recommendations based on these factors.
Blown film offers higher tear resistance and is commonly used for general pallet wrapping. Cast film provides better clarity and quieter unwind, which is useful when barcode scanning or low noise is required. The table above summarises the main differences.
Custom printing is available. Minimum order quantities apply, and the requirements can be discussed with the sales team.
Yes. Jumbo rolls are available for customers who want to reduce roll change frequency on high-output wrapping or converting lines. Roll weight and core size can be customized according to equipment requirements.
Hand film is formulated for easier manual stretching and tear-off. Machine film has higher stiffness and tensile strength to operate reliably on automatic wrappers. Both are produced to different performance profiles for their intended application.
Yuhong has produced stretch film since 2008. The factory operates in-house extrusion and winding lines, with all production carried out at the Xiamen facility. International sales are managed by a dedicated foreign trade subsidiary.
